1890s – Northern Counties Hotel, Portrush, Co. Antrim Architect: John Lanyon / Berkeley Deane Wise The Belfast and Northern Counties Railway purchased a share in the lease of the well-established Antrim Arms hotel in the 1870s.
1898 – Midland Hotel, Belfast, Co. Antrim Architect: Berkeley Deane Wise Built in Belfast as part of the York Road station reconstruction with the intention of capturing trade from long distance travellers as it was convenient to the cross-channel steamer berths.
1898 – Northern Counties Hotel, Waterloo Place, Derry Architect: Alfred Arthur Forman A fine late Victorian hotel with opulent interiors, that was restored in 2009 as office accommodation.
1905 – Laharna Hotel, Larne, Co. Antrim Architect: Berkeley Deane Wise Existing hotel acquired by the Midland Railway Northern Counties Committee, which was the Belfast and Northern Counties Railway until 1903.
