McDonnell & Reid

In 1910, Laurence Aloysius McDonnell formed a partnership with Alexander Reid as McDonnell & Reid. Reid enlisted for the war and remained in England afterwards. In 1917 McDonnell formed a new partnership with his assistant William Dixon as McDonnell & Dixon, under which name it continues after McDonnell’s death in 1925.
