Max Z. Blankstein (1876–1931)

Architect who was trained in Odessa and moved to Canada in 1904. Three of his children became architects including Cecil N. Blankstein (1908-1989) who founded Green Blankstein Russell Associates. Another son Morley Blankstein (1924-2015) founded Blankstein Coop Gillmor & Hanna, later Number Ten Architects.
