London & Lancashire Insurance Co.
The London & Lancashire Fire Insurance Company was based in London and Liverpool. It expanded internationally, suffered large losses in the San Francisco and Valparaiso earthquakes of and 1906. Renamed the London and Lancashire Insurance Company Limited in 1920, it was acquired by Royal Insurance in 1961/1962 and finally deregistered in 1975.
