Designed by the celebrated 19th Century architect Sir George Gilbert Scott and largely built by 1872,
The first London church designed by Bodley and Garner and is finished externally in brick with stone dressings in the decorated Gothic style.
A fine non-conformist Wesleyan Chapel opened in 1882.
Built to seat 650, replacing an iron chapel of 1875.
Design selected for proposed new church,
The Church suffered wartime damage to the stained glass,
