John Burnet & Son

Formed by John Burnet (1814-1901) and his son, John James Burnet (1857-1938) in Glasgow, Scotland in 1882. From 1886 to 1897, the firm was known as John Burnet, Son & Campbell after John Archibald Campbell (1859-1909) became a partner. Afterward it reverted to John Burnet & Son, until 1919 when it became Sir John Burnet & Partners.
