John Charles Wilmot, served his articles with Thomas Drew. Later, from 1882 to 1886 he practised in London and Windsor with Patrick James Byrne as Byrne & Wilmot. In 1887 he set up his own practice in Dublin, which was chiefly engaged in domestic work.
