Hogle & Davis

Originally formed by Andrew Thomas Taylor (1850-1937) and George W. Gordon as Taylor & Gordon. Gordon remained based in London, England, while Taylor operated from Montreal. Previously Taylor, Hogle & Davis, briefly, in 1904 when Taylor brought on Morley Hogle (1870-1920), and Huntley W. Davis (1875-1952), prior to his returning to England. Hogle and Davis inherited the practise. They devoted much of their career to the design of branches of the Merchants Bank of Canada, located in every province from Alberta through to Quebec.
