This formed the subject of a limited competition for the new Wcsleyan Centenary Hall in Bishopsgate-street,
The erection of this library was made possible by a donation from the Estate of William Savage and a subsidy from the Colonial Government.
An attractive little building, the main facade of Ruabon brick to the street has a half-timbered gable over a large leaded glass window with an adjacent open porch.
A freestanding single-storey church hall with raised basement and ornately stuccoed gabled entrance front including pilasters with fluted details to ends and flanking central doorway,
