Godfrey W. Ferguson (1855-1939)

Articled to Sir Charles Lanyon in Belfast, he moved to London where he worked for J. J. Stevenson and also the London School Board. By 1883 he had returned to Belfast, and practised alone until c.1905 when he joined the practice of engineer John Swiney (1855-1930) and John E. Croasdaile (1867-1954) as a partner. Swiney & Croasdaile were resonsible for many public sanitation projects acrss Ulster. Ferguson was architect to the Northern Banking Co. and designed many branches.
