Gerald McNicholl (1911-80)
Gerald McNicholl was born in England in 1911, studied architecture at University College, Dublin, graduating in 1933. After working in several Dublin offices he joined the Architectural Branch of the Office of Public Works in 1935, eventually becoming Principal Architect in 1968. He retired in 1976.
