Former offices and showroom for the Electricity Supply Board, one of a few properties on Fleet Street constructed for the organisation.

Originally this marked the edge of the south bank of the Liffey along with Temple Bar. The name presumably derives from fleets of ships coming up the river to moor here.

Possibly built to designs of architect and sculptor Gary Trimble. Also believed that Signa, an Irish design group led by Michael Scott may have had some input into the facade.
