1893 – Rosapenna Hotel, Carrigart, Co. Donegal An unusual looking building for Ireland, but with good reason as it was designed in Stockholm, constructed in wood, and shipped to Mulroy.
1894 – Great Northern Hotel, Bundoran, Co. Donegal Architect: Sir Thomas Drew The opening of the Enniskillen and Bundoran Railway (E&BR) in 1868 connected Bundoran with Ireland’s growing railway network and made the town more accessible from Belfast,
1913 – Portsalon Hotel, Co. Donegal Architect: Richard M. Close Originally started life as a large house, which can be seen in the centre of the range of buildings.
1969 – Óstán na Rosann, Dungloe, Co. Donegal Architect: Carr Sweeney O’Farrell Feel the white heat of a modernising Ireland in this cheerful John Hinde postcard. Sadly the clean lines of the original hotel have been removed by later renovations.
