The Flatiron Building, or Fuller Building as it was originally called, is considered to be one of the first skyscrapers ever built.
Designed in the “Chicago school”, the Santa Fe Building is now the headquarters of the Chicago Architecture Foundation.
Constructed by the US Government, Pennsylvania Railroad, and the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, the cost of the land and terminal exceeded 18 million in 1907.
