The Star Cinema opened on 15th January 1953 and closed in December 1971 to become a pop concert venue.
Constructed by the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee, now known as Pearse College of Further Education.
Fronting a large saw-toothed warehouse space with north facing windows, demolished and replaced with apartments.
Now Crumlin College of Further Education, this Girls Vocational School was constructed for the City of Dublin Vocational Educational Committee at a time of modernisation in the education system.
