The Star Cinema opened on 15th January 1953 and closed in December 1971 to become a pop concert venue.
1953 – Vocational School, Clogher Rd., Dublin

Constructed by the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee, now known as Pearse College of Further Education.
1955 – James Hennessy & Co., Davitt Rd., Crumlin, Dublin

Fronting a large saw-toothed warehouse space with north facing windows, demolished and replaced with apartments.
1956 – Girls Vocational School, Crumlin Road, Dublin
Architect: Hooper & Mayne
Now Crumlin College of Further Education, this Girls Vocational School was constructed for the City of Dublin Vocational Educational Committee at a time of modernisation in the education system.
