Crescentwood Winnipeg

After consultation and historic research, Crescentwood was defined in 2019/20 as the area contained within Kingsway, Stafford, Yale, and Wellington Crescent. A majority of houses in this area were built between 1900 and 1914, according to specifications set out in caveats put forward by Charles Henry Enderton the property developer when the area was subdivided in 1902 and 1903. Enderton came to Winnipeg from St. Paul, Minnesota in 1890 to start a real estate career. He acquired property near the Maryland Bridge and registered the original plans for the new subdivision, which would come to be known as Crescentwood.
