1815 – Imperial Hotel, South Mall, Cork The present main façade and entrance to the Imperial Hotel was originally constructed as a separate building the “Commercial Buildings” on South Mall by Sir Thomas Deane in 1813.
1880s – Design for Hotel, South Mall, Cork Architect: Sir T.N. Deane & Son Illustration for building described as Sutton House and also as a “design for a hotel”,
1900 – Hotel Metropole, Cork Architect: Arthur Hill Ornate Victorian hotel with retail units at ground level. The building was largely rebuilt and extended during 1910-11 after a large fire.
