Unusual but successful amalgam of a classical inspired facade with Gothic window stylings. Sadly in recent years the original window tracery and glass was replaced with a simpler glass finsh.
A large two-storey house built in 1872 for Thomas Andrews (father of the other Thomas Andrews, designer of the Titanic) in a Italianate style with a projecting eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof.
Constructed as part of the Marquis of Londonderry’s estate and extended and remodelled in the early 1870s.
