The centerpiece of Drogheda north of the Boyne is the tall and graceful French Gothic church by O’Neill &
Constructed from 1875-1882. Built in the Gothic style,
Built of flint with stone dressings in the Decorated/Perpendicular style in 1882.
Never completed – the spire and tower being capped at nave height.
