Chadwick & Beckett

Formed in late 1899 by Samuel Gustavus Beckett (1869-1917) and William C.V. Chadwick (1868-1941). Both signed up for the First World War. Beckett was appointed Lieutenant Colonel on 1 July 1915, but his promising career came to an abrupt end when he was killed in action at Carency, France on 1 March 1917. Chadwick survived the war
