Buckley & O’Gorman

Formed in 1935 by Eoghan Buckley (1907-95) and John J. O’Gorman (1908-94), and practised from 21 Merrion Square, Dublin. The partnership came to an end when O’Gorman emigrated to Canada in 1953 to take up a position in the Canadian Department of Defence.

Shannon was selected in the mid 1930’s as a site for a transatlantic airport.
