Buchan Kane & Foley

Walter J. Buchan (1900-91) qualified as an architect in 1926. In the Second World War Buchan joined the Engineers Corps of the Irish Army and was stationed in the Curragh and was responsible for army buildings across the country. After the war, he returned to private practice, first in Dublin in the partnership of Buchan, Kane & Smith, later Buchan, Kane & Foley
