The Forum Cinema opened on 20 November 1937 and closed on 28 January 1967 –
Monolithic brick structure on a curved site with some simple brick detailing on stairwells to the rear.
The Whitla Hall was opened in 1949 and was named after Sir William Whitla.
Two brick blocks linked by a graceful overhead walkway finished with copper cladding with opaque glazing.
Built at a cost of £50,000, it was the first post-war cinema in Belfast with a balcony.
Now known as Greenwood Infant School,
