Anthony Thomas Jackson (1838-1917)

Elder son of architect Thomas Jackson and was articled to Ewan Christian in London. In 1867 he and his brother William entered partnership with their father as Thomas Jackson & Sons, but soon afterwards, probably in 1869 or 1870, when he designed the new Belfast Town Hall, Anthony Thomas set up in independent practice. He was declared bankrupt in September 1881, retired in 1908 and died in 1917.
