Alan Hope (1909-65)

Alan Hope graduated from Liverpool University School of Architecture in 1932, and came to Dublin afterwards. He worked with Vincent Kelly, later with Frederick G. Hicks. On Hicks’ retirement, Hope took over his practice. His wife, Máirín Cuffe Hope (1914-2009) was also an architect, graduated from the School of Architecture in University College Dublin in 1939.
