Replacing the old East Stand which was constructed in 1927, the new East Stand cost £4 million and held thirteen thousand providing ten thousand extra seats over the previous capacity.
Designed as the corporate headquarters,
The earlier building on the Fort Whyte Alive site responded to the windswept prairie landscape with the simple gesture of an enormous sloping cedar roof facing north,
Located at the inside corner of the Gold Coast streetwall where Lake Shore Drive turns east and the “Magnificent Mile”
