1865 – Stableyard, Hope Castle, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan

Fine stableyard with accomodation set around three sides of a square and decorative stone archways set into the centre of the fourth. Not the most elaborate Stableyard in County Monaghan by any means, the neo-Georgian edifice at Dartrey in Rockcorry of 1850 being much more impressive. Now in a very poor state of repair, after damage by fire.
