Open House Dublin to run 14 – 16 October 2016

logo_dublin-openhouse Irish Architecture Foundation is delighted to announce that Open House Dublin will take place from 14 – 16 October this year.

The 1916 Centenary will be the focus of this year’s curated programme. The architecture of Dublin is a reflection of our culture. The buildings we design and build today, and those we protect, tell a story of Dublin’s development. The buildings on our city’s streetscape tell a very direct and inspiring story about the history of our capital, the past lives of its inhabitants and our aspirations for the future.

The annual OHD weekend provides a free and rare opportunity to access and discover the wealth of up to 100 significant buildings that reveal a changing city over the century.

Open House Dublin is funded by Dublin City Council, the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Airbnb and the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
