From The Building News, August 6 1920: “The drawing reproduced to-day is at the Royal Academy Exhibition, The building is being erected, The facades are in brick with Portland stone dressings and a grey slate roof. Messrs. Godson and Son are the contractors. Mr. E. Guv Dawber, V.P .R.I.B.A., of Maddox Street, Hanover Square, is the architect. The key plan below the section shows the lay-out of the bank facing Kilburn High Road with a longer frontage in Cavendish Road. The banking hall is at the comer of the premises, the managers’ room being beyond with a waitingroom adjoining it.”
