Liffey Boardwalk mooted

The Liffey boardwalk project is a key component in a broader £10m-plus millennium `facelift’ for Dublin’s riverside area. Inspired by the Seine in Paris and other influences, Dublin Corporation commissioned architects MacGarry Ni Eanaigh to design a cantilevered boardwalk along the North Quays between O’Connell Bridge and Capel St Bridge. The project will cost an estimated £1m and target for completion is 2000.
