Arthur Lasenby Liberty first opened his store on Regent Street in 1875. The mock Tudor building on Great Marlborough Street and the larger Beaux Arts classical building, named East India House, were built to the designs of Edwin Thomas Hall and his son and partner Edwin Stanley between 1922 and 1925.
