A three-stage limestone tower with clock erected by the tenants of the Boyle and Rockingham Estate to the memory of the Honourable Laurence Harman King-Harman, second son of the Viscount Lorton who died in 1875. Sited in a prominent position on a rise in the town, in front of the former Courthouse. Later plaques around the base of the tower.
