Architect: Albert E. Murray

Built for W. Drummond & Sons, seed merchants and nurserymen. A Dutch revival gabled frontage of Ruabon brick & buff terracotta. This blend of red brick and cream terracotta became known amongst architects as Murray’s Mellow Mixture, a reference to a tobacco product from Murrays in Belfast. A fine double bay shop façade with curved windows & central porch with flat roof which was used for display of evergreens.
