1986 – Garda Station, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan

Architect: John Keogan, Office of Public Works

Large L-plan building on three levels designed by the Office of Public Works as a regional centre for the Irish police. The building is bland, fails to address the streets adjacent and originally featured a rather unattractive piece of public art by Michael Bulfin in the courtyard to the front. Now the space in front is used as secure parking for Garda vehicles. Dismal.
