1936 – Former Empire Cinema, Quebec City, Quebec

Former Art Deco cinema now subsumed into the neighbouring department store, but tastefully so. The awning over the sidewalk is still intact as is most of the original Art Deco detailing. Originally opened in 1915 at a cost of 10,000 dollars to plans by Thomas Read Peacock. The Art Deco exterior dates from 1936.
