    Where did this 60m maximum height for almost everything in Dublin come from?

    The new tara street station will be just over 60m
    Liberty hall is just under 60m and Georges Quay is just under 60 metres too

    According to the dublin docklands development authority website the new landmark development at the proposed point square was reduced from 100m to, surprise surprise, a maximum height of 60 metres !

    Will anything exciting ever be built in Dublin? Anyway, in all liklihood the most boring and conservative U2 building competition entry will probably win
