    hi lexington,

    I saw this in the Weekend supplement of the good old Examiner at the time, maybe they can tell you in Academy st? I think I remember reading the Architect was American, or had worked for some time in America. I think it’s supposed to be quite impressive inside though, whatever you think about the outside…

    It would definetly make sense notjim. Two schools at present for the 26 counties, as compared to 3 schools in the 6 Ulster counties(Queens Belfast, recently University of Ulster and now the Belfast College of Art I hear).

    There is huge demand for the two Dublin colleges denying or excluding candidates who may just be as good as people who are accepted into them.

    Must be worth considering

    visually illiterate planners, almost backward looking with little understanding of what adds to and enhances the quality of the built enviornment and the larger communitiy.
