ParticipantThe movement has a Congress and a Charter and they make a lot of claims about their methods and the outcomes.
However on one side a lot of what they advocate is merely good urban design principles and nothing radical while on the other the type of architecture they employ are in stlyes such as mock georgian, french colonial etc and is decidedly against modern architecture.stew
Participanti was wondering the same thing- are there examples of new urbanist principles being applied in Ireland.
leon Krier lectured in Dublin this summer and i think Tony Reddy mentioned new urbanism in an article in the Irish Times a good while ago- i dont know the date though.
but i dont know if there are any people claiming to use these principles in Ireland- AuthorPosts
