By the way do you know if he did any other work around the country, I know that he looked after some of Edward Lovett Pearces’ building projetcs after he died, but do you know of any other buildings he completed to his own designs……..

StarchParticipantThe second one you described………..that’s the one I’m looking for……….absoloutely any ideas where I could get pics………how bad a condition is it in…….
StarchParticipantThe Beatles were more or less a pop group and how sorry was Liverpool council when they demolished the Cavern Club……U2 were open to an alternative location, but are now objecting to the CPO….and as for ‘heritage smeritage’…..what age are you?
I would rather go see the U2 studios than some sleekly designed street furniture……. every God damn city has that, but not all of them have the studio of the biggest rock (not pop) band on the quays of their cityStarchParticipant……..it sound ludicrous to build a multi-storey car park under a primary school of all places…..not to mention the noise and health implicationsm.
StarchParticipantSometimes the importance of buildings span beyond good looks……….to heitage….which is a social issue which is undoubtedly linked with architecture…
StarchParticipantOoops………
StarchParticipant……..Could you make it that when you click on the “Irish Architecture” forum, you get the option of the other 3 provinces seeing that Dublin is Leinster now…..
