    They should put the trams underground.

    This is not only an Irish problem. Every rail line in Europe has graffiti. The obvious solution would be random spot checks late at night by the Garda (or some security company appointed by the RPA). While you might not be able to eradicate graffiti completly, I would like to see all stations remaining clean.

    Looks great at a glance. What the pictures dont show is the large shadows the buildings will cast, not to mention the winds associated with large buildings.

    The Sunday Tribune reported (29/08/04) that on the Luas line from Connolly to Tallaght the trams were taking up to one hour to complete the journey and were failing to reach the target time of 42 minutes.

    I wish they would put more vending machines at Luas Stops.

    Here are the buildings/areas of Dublin that I consider changed Dublin
    Corporation Housing schemes of the 1930’s (i.e Crumlin, Cabra)
    Temple Bar
    Archers Garage (and its demolition)
    Ex Bord Na Mona Building on Baggot Street
    The original Terminal in Dublin Airport (Collinstown)
    The Square in Tallaght c.a. 1990
    The DART in 1984
    The pedestrianisation of Grafton Street incl. the paving
    The Arts & Commerce Block in UCD Belfield
    Nelsons Pillar being blown up in 1966

    I note that Connex/RPA are only running Luas at a reduced intervals of 10 minutes until the start of August. What about the promise of 2 years ago,, Trams every 5 minutes!. This is not a good start. However it is good to see the line finished and I hope it is a success.
