Rest assured that I don’t want ads plastered all over the site either….. if i find a corporate body willing to sponsor it, note one corporate body, i’ll incorporate their logos into the archeire banner rather than a traditional ad format or popups…..
could be worth a try….. never managed to get much advertising but what i did get paid the bills for this….
yes, tried all the major suppliers and construction firms in Ireland I could think of. Used the irishconstruction.com listings.

Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway are, I suspect, about to run into a lot of sneery criticism – much of it from jealous architects. These wealthy ex-fashion designers have done what architects have mostly failed to do for decades. They have persuaded one of Britain’s leading mass housebuilders – Wimpey Homes – to rethink its product and invest in good design. On a grand scale.

MG is correct okay on the uses. I’m currently writing an article for an Irish magazine on the controversy to its building. When its published I will finally publish my entire thesis here on the site….. 80,000 odd words and several hundred illustrations…..
The coats or arms over the gates look ok but I assume theyre copies of the originals…. must take zoom lense down….

Temporary for over a year now. If they intend that they become permanent, how about a decent design? An international student competition to design the gates and get something half way interesting.
Oh no, I live on Parkgate Street, and have to walk past the fountain at the end of Sherwin Bridge every day… its a magnet for drunks and druggies.
there’s a bar on Dame Street – cannot remember the name – and the ladies cubicles have their own sinks etc inside. Nice idea but hardly space efficent.

Bu “museum of museums” I mean that it more or less exactly the way museums where at the turn of the last century, no endless shite interactive displays that crash half the time, no immersive multimedia rooms… just exhibits in glass boxes
