KeymasterThe following are the results of the Architectural Association of Ireland¹s AAI Awards 2001  the seventeenth in the series of annual awards for excellence in architectural design  which were adjudicated on Friday, 30th November.
There were 122 applications and 121 entries received by the deadline  the highest numbers ever for the AAI Awards. All were deemed eligible.
The AAI AWARDS 2002 exhibition will open in Dublin, in March 2002; it will also tour to other venues around the country.

The Downes Bronze Medal may be awarded at the discretion of the Assessors.

KeymasterI have them but “Circulation of these results is restricted to entrants and members of the AAI until the exhibition in March 2002. All press coverage of the AAI Awards 2002 will be held back until then.”

KeymasterI think I would have peferred the old line of the street to be reinstated so you glimpse the side of City Hall and the AIB instead of seeing their full side. Afterall they were designed to be glimpsed rather than be fully exposed.
