KeymasterI was in St Bricin’s Military Hospital, Arbour Hill last Friday. There is a tunnel which runs from there, via Arbour Hill Prison (formerly the military prison) to the former Collins Barracks, all downhill to move prisoners around. It is closed up for security but essentially still there.

KeymasterFranks right – this needed to be said. Personally I wouldn’t bring a dog into Temple Bar at the moment unless it was to go to the IFC (which incidentally is also too small). Because us as locals (as in city centre dwellers as opposed to Temple Bar residents) don’t bother to go there, you don’t see how bad it is. I pass through it most saturday mornings and the condition of the area really does need to be brought to a wider audience.

KeymasterDunnes Stores is to sell off its newly completed office headquarters at Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
Selling agents Druker Fanning and Partners are expecting offers in excess of Euro31.74 million for the 10-storey block on the Navan dual carriageway. The striking glass building was designed by Andrej Wejchert who was also responsible for the nearby Blanchardstown town centre.
Dunnes’ present headquarters are in Dublin city centre. The company now plans to build a new city centre headquarters along South Great Georges Street at a cost of Euro40 million.
