ParticipantThe RPA cannot cry poor while proposing another bridge
Building another bridge is flawed technology…
The money could be better spent…
Luas central is premature pending dart u and metro north …
Further to this there is no under master plan for this whole procession.route a is the best but only if they chop into the trinity railings…
metro north should be able to be high speed or third rail… and should have a spare third line it would cost peanuts
natural gas powered luas?

Making water dance: the art of fountain design
One of the simplest ways to instil a sense of joy in to an otherwise boring space is to install a fountain. Whether it’s the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome, or a small water feature on a balcony, fountains have the power to captivate and uplift the human spirit. You would have to go back to ancient Rome to discover when we began using water as a decorative element in our gardens and public squares. By the 15th and 16th centuries the Italian Renaissance fountaineers seemed to have mastered the art, but our first guest this week has reinvented the fountain for the modern age.

ParticipantArchitects are in competition before projects and fee agreements are negotiated…
What do you expect? I’m not saying I agree with the result I have seen all the renders including internals but its beside the point…IT should refuse to occupy it if they are not happy with it otherwise they are supporting the scheme…
oh wait they might have a contract…
If the architect was the client I would blame the architect they have no power to tell the client what to do…

ParticipantI don’t think you can blame architects they serve clients…
You can blame planners and our econmic systems of so called “competition”

Ha, this is brilliant. First we have Frank this morning giving a thinly veiled critique bordering on disgust for the Conference Centre, followed tonight by Sean O’Laoire on Vincent Browne employing every trick in the book to avoid stating his opinion on it. Quite the sketch.
Who’ll be next? This is worthy of a theatrical comedy in the new auditorium.
The point that caught my eye was every piece of glass was different…
Not that you would design it with that intent…
