Ahhhh doubt that will happen. It will be some property developer hoping to remove the complaints lobby by hirintg a big name and then having their inhouse crew ‘design’ the 5 million square feet of bland office space.

Another to watch – small shop buildings on corner of Benburb Street and Blackhall Place – listed but Fusano Ltd had planning notice on them for redevelopment. The corner entrance of one looks precarious.
I always wondered why the RIAI kept the ‘R’ after Independence. Anyone able to cast any light on this?
Cultural interaction is a good thing and perhaps the RSUA in N.Ireland could be interested as well?
The RIAI has always been very protective of its domain, do you think they would be open to such suggestions?
Don’t forget that Dublin is getting a new gallery as well – the new extension to the National Gallery by Benson & Forsyth.
Just a thought:
perhaps community activism such as led by yourself at Kilmainham has resulted in Dublin’s lack of comparative buildings.
