Maybe I should have been a bit more specific……..I was talking about the urban environment…..urban design and the like.
What a load of bullshit you talk………people listen to doctors when they need EXPERT advice about their health, solicitors when they need EXPERT advice about legal stuff, accountants when they need EXPERT advice about their money………….why not architects, when they need EXPERT advice about homes, design,the environment………..it makes sense…….
What I think that you are trying to achieve coming on here shouting your mouth off is to become some sort of ‘peoples champion’Did you try the Arts Council?………..they give relatively little or nothing to architecture…perhaps, up until now there was nothing decent for them to invest in…….
Well I think the restrictions to access in Lloyds was caused by terrorisn threats during the ‘Troubles’………..good luck tryin’ to get in there with a Fenian accent!

And in response to James’ posts……… I think Paul does enough…….. a website is probably the best way to serve architecture in this day and age………you can’t expect Paul to be running around like a blue arsed fly checking everything……no one person can be ‘Mr Architecture’
Believe it or not at the time, it was original, when it did become very twee years later, Michael tried to give the credit to a politician for the inspiration of the floor plan/building shape

What artwork is lost……. I thought that the majority of the artwork on show was on loan from the National Gallery and private collectors

That’s weird………..any normal business would jump at the chance of getting publicity……..architects ………they’re a rare auld bunch!
