ok..i think i know what u have done. if the 3d is in model space. creatre another viewport in paper space. then dblclick into that and just find the 3d
is the 3d in model space as well? and i prefer to use a different viewport for all drawings even if they are beside each other but that’s just a personal preference.
u should be able to just click into each viewport and select ur view. by selecting a 3d view in one viewport doesn’t make the whole page select it as well.
because it’s different it is , i suppose, a “landmark” building but how long before the person next door wants to make some money and gets permission for a similiar development because the precedent is there for size and shape etc. then it isn’t a landmark anymore cos lots of them will spring up. a landmark in my opinion has to be something that can’t or won’t be copied in the immediate area.
it’s a funny one alright. just like defensible space!!!!!
my thoughts and maybe i am wide of the mark is public open space. either a square or landscaped public garden…maybe even a football/sport pitch. that kinda thing i think phil.

while i’m all in for inculsion of our lost brethern the fact remains that belfast is in a foreign country to that which has the honour of being president for this great occasion. and i have no doubt u’ll have a great time. i love belfast. great place to visit. kinda like kilkennt but the women wear shorter skirts. 🙂agree… and would busaras be considered in that bracket too..i know it was a while after but no real high profile architecture gives the country a sense of itself like her.
and only one u mentionied not connecting dublin with it’s satelite towns… and none going too far out into the wilderness.

no argument there from me. i agree that some is terribly offensive on the eye but it’s the blanket approach to objecting that has angered everyone.
and mob79…no need why not in kildare for “the greater dublin area”…. or meath or wicklow… the burren is an international protected area so couldn’t really if u wanted to!!!! besides it’s all bloody rock so it wouldn’t pay…
the reason i went off in a rant other than alcohol was that an taisce seem to think they have the divine right to interfere with the business of the countryside. this is wrong and is partly the reason for the dramatic decline in agriculture as a viable industry.the tone of the message is an insult to everyone who is or was from “the country”.what motorways? all the motorways my good man are in the dublin area….time for you to come outside and see. and as for pollution????? hmmmmm!!!! where do i start on that one!!!!
oh! i think u do need a holiday!!!! and that sound like a normal day to be honest….clients are there to be lied to!!!! engineers are there to be abused and i am always (nearly) on this site talking shite 🙂
and i believe it was disapora alan??? could be wrong though.i have to certify compliance with planning…this is a real big problem with most projects as nobody i know does comply with planning!!! and then shit comes flying…
