I have to say, it’s extremely worrying. You only have to look in Merchant’s Quay to see just how many businesses have upped and left for cheaper Blackpool/Mahon Pt. What’s even more distressing is that we’re losing the small, local businesses that have been in existence in the city for years.@ake wrote:

Great for Northern Ireland. not so great for the Republic. I can see an awful lot of Northerners who have been refused permission coming down here and taking advantage of our lax planning regulations.
