ParticipantIs there any regional architecture in Ireland? All the old buildings in Ireland were designed on foreign architecture like French Gothic for churches and Italian Classical for the Customs House, Four Courts etc.

My other favorite older building is the Baggot St. Hospital. I forget the name of the hospital.Boyler

ParticipantThe cathedrals in Cork (St. Finbar’s) and Cobh (?) look nicer than Dundalk’s Pro-Cathedral, in my opinion.

ParticipantWhat bank owns the building on College Green that has a French chateau roof and Italian Gothic base? That’s my favorite bank building.

ParticipantCollege Green in Dublin has the best collection of beautiful architecture in Ireland. You have the facades of Trinity College, old Parliament Building( is the Bank of Ireland now ) and several banks.

ParticipantI like the main building of the Four Courts but not the side buildings. They’re very dull compared to the main building.
