passed the spike this morning. the work at base level is coming along. the hoardings are beginning to come down. will have to put in a huge effort in the next day or so to complete it by Monday.

Mrs BJ works for the ESB and she says indeed lepoardstown is a possibility but nothing definite is decided. a lot of time is been spent on getting ready for going private due to the opening of the market in 2005.

on a lighter note i was in the NCH last friday for a concert to celebrate 75 years of the ESB. the evening was hosted by none other then Marian Finucane. Now was not Ms Finucane an architectual student in the past and who protested against the building of the ESB HQ?

    hmmmmmmmmmm irony. 😀

nope. they are refurmbising the flats at the intersection of Buckingham street and sean mcdermott street. i must admit that are beginning to look really well. hopefully the folk they move back in will think the same and will contribute to their upkeep.

took a cycle down to the war memorial park on Sunday. if you know anyone assosiated with the running of the park please inform then that their sign posting is woeful.

anyway i found it and what a wonderful and thoughful place to while away a bit of time. very well laid out and very well kept. it was much bigger that what i thought it would be. i counted 2 other people there besides me which i think is a shame. more people should see this park.

that Shackleton’s Flour Mills place is spookey. i instaled a payroll package there circa 1988. most of the stuf they produced went to Roma foods.

i work around the corner from this. the church there now is not bad at all (from a building point of view and not a religious one 🙂 )

would be interesting alright to see the winning design.
